The Ambulance Cube Production Coordinator
To round out our permanent team, we are looking for an ambulance cube production coordinator. At PMB, the role of the production coordinator in the ambulance cube department is to ensure that customers receive this specific product and to organize the work and supplies needed to achieve this. This position therefore requires serving as the primary manager of the team assigned to this department, using the system to manage logistics, and acting as a project manager.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the department’s success by taking a strategic approach to the various stages of cube production:
- Management of the Dedicated Team
- Production and Quality Control Steps
- Procurement of Components and Supplies
- Monitoring the Production Schedule
- Internal and external communications related to the product
- Work with the coordinators at other PMB plants and the company’s production manager to plan the various subcomponents manufactured in-house and to jointly manage PMB’s overall production operations;
- Help develop operational solutions for various situations (such as employee absences, machine breakdowns, temporary relocation of staff, etc.). Work with various team members to identify future operational needs;
- Effective supply chain management for orders and receipts of items needed for production;
- Management of maintenance for the department’s equipment and machinery;
- Work with the business development team on matters related to customer relations.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform production sequencing (ERP production plan).
- Facilitate the kick-off meetings at the Cubes plant and share key performance indicators with the teams (dashboard).
- Set and measure the team’s performance goals.
- Anticipate operational challenges and implement the right strategies to meet production goals.
- Serve as the point person for prioritizing tasks, setting deadlines, establishing a workflow, and implementing improvement solutions with the production team.
- Coordinate and manage the various continuous improvement workshops.
- Serve as the lead manager of the Cubes department team.
Job Requirements
Minimum education requirement: DEC in Production Management or equivalent studies
Number of years of experience required: 8 years in production management and manufacturing experience

Day shift: 40 hours per week during the day. Schedule to be discussed prior to hiring.
Salary: $81,984 to $106,055, depending on experience.
